Yesterday (16.04.2024) Gartner has identified five key public sector technology trends in 2024 that will help public sector leaders deliver better, faster and more efficient services to citizens. As usual with Gartner, this was presented in a clear and easy to understand way:

trendy technologiczne według Gartnera

admittedly yarrl it does not have the analytical power that Gartner has, but I am pleased to note that our many years of experience working with the public sector, combined with constant observation of technological trends, led us to similar conclusions some time ago.

In a nutshell, Gartner points to:

  • Providing security in an adaptive waySecurity models that combine and continuously adapt cybersecurity tools, techniques and talents to the changing threat landscape;
  • Digital Identity EcosystemsStrengthening digital identity strategies based on use cases and partnerships that break out of traditional sectoral silos in order to increase value for citizens, government and business;
  • Artificial Intelligence for Decision Analytics, that is, the need to invest in tools and solutions from the areas of machine learning (ML), analytics and generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI), as these technologies will mature in the next two years and merge into a set of tools that will support better public service delivery.
  • Digital Platform Agility, which is the adoption of platform-based solutions such as cloud and low-code platforms, which accelerates the deployment of business solutions and eliminates the service delivery risks associated with traditional systems, and allows for easy and rapid adaptation and scaling of solutions to the needs of citizens.
  • Programmatic data management, a systematic and scalable approach to leveraging data assets across the organization based on automation platforms and their ability to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) mechanisms.

By yarrl We have found the last three trends pointed out by Gartner particularly accurately.

In the area defined by Gartner as Artificial Intelligence for Decision Analytics We continue to review and test solutions in which the use of Gen AI provides significant, predictable and measurable benefits, while not forcing ethical or security-related compromises. There are plenty of potential uses, from detecting abuse to answering citizens' questions, and chat and voice bots are one of the specialties of #teamyarrl. Our contact center services will be productively supported by AI technologies from May.

In the area Digital Platform Agility Last year, we decided to invest in our own low-code platform, which will be included in our offer from May 2024. We have acquired a ready-made platform (CasePro) along with numerous active implementations in the financial sector in order to avoid the risks and time associated with its construction. In principle, already today we are ready to offer its functionality in the ecosystem of the public sector.

Automated data management It's basically our routine. In projects such as the construction of the Your e-PIT service, we continuously develop functionalities while increasing the level of maturity, following, among others, the guidelines specified in the framework Data Value Pyramid.

So it only remains to thank Gartner for confirming that the energy expended by us in the last 2-3 quarters has only slightly increased the entropy of the universe, because the vast majority of it has turned into already visible results that will quickly provide us with a meaningful ROI.
