December at GK yarrl is traditionally a time when we slow down for a moment — we get together in a festive circle and catch some time together outside of everyday projects. This was also the case this time: we met in Cracow and Warszawa, and at the same time we joined forces in charity work for Help Them Foundation, supporting children with cancer.

Thanks to the involvement of both teams, we managed to raise PLN 23.5 thousand.

Warsaw: yarrl box and auction

The Warsaw part of the campaign started with a fundraiser - quickly there were a lot of things to pass on: e.g. beautifully scented handmade candles, Christmas tree decorations and jars of lard and cucumbers.

In the morning you could also try snacks and sweets prepared especially for the occasion by our “yarrl chefs” - for any deposit to the Foundation's piggy bank.

The whole thing was crowned Christmas Eve at the restaurant - joint dinner and conversations at the festive table. During the meeting, it also took place bidding, where you could auction, among others, vinyls, posters, the Millennium Falcon from LEGO bricks, as well as the trilogies “Matrix” and “The Hobbit”. All proceeds went to fund the Foundation's fundraising.

Krakow: 4 Days of Charity Fair

In Krakow, Lockus organized a charity fair, which by 4 days took place in the office. Every day there was a lot of deliciousness prepared by the team - from salads and snacks, to homemade cakes, to classics such as borscht and zurek. There was also winter tea, as well as freshly grilled sausages.

It also took place every day prize drawwhich encouraged participation in the fair.

Kiermasz has ended A joint Christmas Eve meeting - with a buffet, conversations and fun almost until dawn. It was also a moment for summary of the whole action and a joint celebration of the fact that we managed to combine Christmas time with real support for the Foundation.

PLN 23.5 thousand for the Help Them Foundation

The most important thing is that all these activities - the Krakow Fair and Warsaw initiatives - contributed to real support. Together we collected PLN 23.5 thousand per Help Them Foundation.

Thank you to everyone who joined the action: they brought fanta, prepared food, bought tickets, bid and deposited funds. It was a really good, warm time — and we're glad it could have had a charitable dimension as well.
