Case study: support of key business processes on a low-code platform at Europ Assistance Polska

case study: platforma low-code w Europ Assistance

The implementation team for the financial sector yarrl S.A. (previously in ProService Finteco) has been cooperating since 2021 with Europ Assistance, which in its operational activities uses the “Anchor” application built on our proprietary low-code platform. Due to the change in the law, Europ Assistance Polska faced the challenge of meeting new regulatory requirements, which required standardization of data management processes and adaptation of operations to standards such as IFRS17. The state prior to implementation was characterized by:

  • distributed systems that required integration,
  • manual handling of data, which increased the risk of errors,
  • reduced automation of processes, which generated additional costs and increased the time to complete tasks.
The aim of the implementation was to replace existing systems with a solution that:
  • automates the flow of data,
  • improve their quality and integrity,
  • ensure compliance with regulations,
  • will reduce operating costs.

The decision to choose the yarrl S.A. team as a technology partner was the result of several key factors. First of all, this company stands out for its rich experience in working with solutions based on low-code technology, which was important for a quick and effective implementation. The flexibility and scalability of the low-code platform proved crucial, allowing the system to be adapted to the specific needs of the organization. An important criterion was also the ability of the platform to integrate with more than 100 data sources and a high level of security, meeting OWASP ASVS L2 standards. Description of the implementation The project was completed in six months, which testifies to the excellent management and commitment of the teams on the client and contractor side. The flexibility of the low-code platform was also of great importance, which made it possible to quickly adapt the solution to the specific requirements of the organization. Modern low-code technology has guaranteed the scalability, security and efficiency of the system, which allows Europ Assistance Polska to effectively achieve its business goals. In conclusion, the implementation of the “Anchor” application is an example of a successful technological project that has brought real benefits in both the operational and strategic areas. The Anchor application on the low-code platform includes, but is not limited to:

  • integration with more than 100 data sources,
  • exchange of data with multiple stakeholders,
  • formal and substantive validation of data,
  • automation of data flow,
  • the IFRS data warehouse,
  • generating IFRS17 reports,
  • damage management dashboards,
  • generating documents for the Group's systems,
  • verification of reinsurance accounts,
  • commission reports,
  • dedicated managerial reports,
  • the ABAC (Attribute Based Access Control) permission model
